Greg Grainger has been filming two specials in China for the Ten Network. This special covers the best of the Shandong province, from the ancient recreated water town of Taierzhuang with its serenading boat ladies to the sacred Mount Tai where tens of thousands of people climb every day to watch the sunrise.

In Qingdao, he visits a beer museum. This is a city where beer and seafood are big pleasures. In the city of Weihai, he travels to the Tower of Happiness to find out more about the city’s happy philosophies. In Yantai, he visits a school dedicated to teaching martial arts. And in the city of Zibo, he watches an amazing glass making process, a hundred workers creating highly creative glass works.

Episode 1 screens on Channel 10 on Saturday November 9 at 2.30pm, the second episode one week later at 2.30pm on Saturday November 16.
